I fixed that damn taillight!! But the left brake light is still out. The contacts are yucky on the inside and need to be super sanded.

Put some vinegar on a q-tip and use it to clean the contacts.

I hadn’t thought of that. I was trying to use sandpaper in a similar fashion to cleanings window switch contacts. The difference being I had them out of the car and didn’t have a marker-sized space.
I'll give it a try later and let you know, thanks.
